YOGADOO presents: Back to your roots retreat in India 2019 (31st March-10 April 2019)

Sometimes life gets so busy we forget who we really are, YOGADOO is proud to present the Back to your roots 10 night beachside yoga and meditation retreat, in the home of yoga, India.

We have chosen the very best location for you to reconnect with your practice, nature and yourself. Bamboo Yoga is set right on the shoreline of the Indian ocean on Patnem beach, Goa. With our own private yoga shalas, which are set right on the beach.

Our Back to your roots retreat is a joyful journey of celebration to get you back in touch with who you are, to tune in and reconnect and to remind yourself what is truly important, fittingly in the birthplace of yoga, India.

 

YOGADOO’s Lucy Aston and Bex Bridgford visited India earlier this year and the life-changing experience gave them both the chance to step back and realise that you can get caught up in life, and “if you don’t stop once in a while you will miss it.” Now they want to share that experience with you.

 

Having the space to breathe, allows the colours and magic of India to flood in. We have tailored this retreat to take you away from daily routine for rejuvenation, to set new goals and to feel connected. The Back to your roots retreat will create a space for personal growth, focusing on you, getting stronger, switching off autopilot and give some time to truly “get back to your roots”.

Included in this 10 day retreat

-       Transfers to and from Goa airport

Typical day

7.30am - Cup of tea, juices, fruit with a sea view perfect for morning journaling

8.30am - Setting of the day’s intention and morning mindfulness meditation practice

9 00am - Dynamic Forrest yoga or flow practice in the shade of the beach front yoga deck with the cool ocean breeze and the sound of the birds as our soundtrack.

10.30am/11am - Delicious soul nourishing vegetarian brunch

Afternoons are free to enjoy the beach, explore the local areas, indulge in a rejuvenating treatment, join and excursion or join us for some flowing water and HIIT work out in the waves of mother India ocean. Or just relax and unwind in the retreat lounge

3.00pm Teas, fruit and cookies

4-6pm afternoon yoga - relaxing flow guided by breath, crystal bowls and the sound of the ocean and leading into a breath taking sunset meditation, and quiet time for contemplation

7.00pm Feeling blissful from your day, enjoy a drink and a beautiful home cooked beautiful soulful vegetarian buffet

  

Accommodation: Beautiful, safe, comfortable ensuite bamboo beach bungalows with ocean, temple & mountain views & porches.

 The beds have luxury cotton bedding, comfortable western mattresses and mosquito nets.

The eco-style bungalows have ceiling fans and open air “Star light” bathrooms, with luxury towels and a sarong for you to use during your stay. Located right on Patnem beach and designed to blend with the natural surroundings, to help you to reconnect with nature.  

You’ll have your own hammock to relax and unwind. There is an option to share a room, or have your own single room.

 

Location:  Patnem Beach

The perfect beach front location, a quiet and serene spot at the far end of Patnem bay and just a few mins walk from shops and a short Tuk Tuk ride to Paloem, where there are more shops, restaurants and bars.

  

Food: Delicious and substantial vegetarian menu made with attention for international guests and any dietary requirements. Sunrise – fresh power juices, tropical fruit salad, teas. Brunch & Dinner – delicious Goan -inspired vegetarian delicacy buffets with fresh salads Unlimited water, afternoon teas and cookies

Yoga and Meditation level:

All levels from beginner-advanced are welcome, all mats and equipment is provided.

 

About Bex and Lucy

Bex is over 500 hours trained, specialising in Forrest, Vinyasa and Rocket styles of practice. Her integrative, lighthearted approach weaves together in a playful style with a deep understanding of the human body and spirit. Her mission is to personalise each class, making everyone feel at ease whilst delivering what they need at that moment in time. 'Lets make some shapes and create some energy!!'

Bex’s Forrest yoga style is modern with a holistic approach. She is an enthusiastic teacher who loves getting you into your body to lighten the load of 21st century burdens, filling you with energy for the day ahead.

Lucy is founder of YOGADOO and a trained Vinyasa Flow yoga and Mindfulness Meditation teacher. Since YOGADOO was founded in 2015 she has taught yoga and mindfulness to thousands of children, young people and adults at retreats and events. Lucy’s style of teaching is real and accessible and aims to make yoga and meditation applicable to modern life. She hopes that her sessions leave yogis feeling reconnected and confident in their own power and grace.

Price:

£1400 (Shared room) £1600 (Single room)

Deposit of £150 secures your place on this retreat (non-returnable, limited places) or pay the full amount in one go. If you wish to pay in instalments you may make contributions at any time in £50/£100/£200 amounts.

The full amount must be paid by 2nd April 2019.

50% must be paid by 2nd March. We would recommend paying £200-300 per month to make the payments of equal size between October and March.

Flights are from £450 at the moment (these can fluctuate). We can book flights for you, for a small administration fee of £20. We handle all Visa applications, if your visa is not successful you will only lose £50 from your deposit.
