YOGADOO for Runners Weds 6:30pm-7:30pm (Bath)

from 7.00

Every Wednesday. 6:30pm-7:30pm Weston Methodist Church Hall. Access from the mini-roundabout on Newbridge Hill.

Runners bring with them their own collection of physical peculiarities; tight hamstrings, gluts and shoulders and so on and yoga can be the perfect remedy to unlock that tightness and lengthen and stretch out those muscles. As well as giving you time to work on some all important breathing exercises.

The class is taught by YOGADOO founder and teacher, Lucy Aston who is an avid runner and currently training for the Bath Half Marathon 2017.

"I have always used Yoga stretches as a compliment to my half marathon training, it aids in developing my muscular strength, flexibility and balance which can help reduce the risk of injury as we train."

The class will be taught in the Vinyasa flow style of Yoga, which is low impact and the sequences will be chosen specifically to help those people who run regularly.

YOGADOO is the brand new way to enjoy Yoga and Mindfulness. If you've ever been nervous of a traditional Yoga class, worry about not being bendy enough or would prefer a lighter way to enjoy Yoga then YOGADOO is for you! Using incredible music this class is for complete beginners or those wanting to refresh and practice their Yoga poses in a relaxed and fun environment.
